Entrenched in nostalgia, “High Country” tells a timeless American story of how a community of conscientious and forward-thinking young people, disguised as ski bums and hippies, happened upon a ramshackle mining town on the fringe of society and worked to conserve and protect it for years to come.  This screening is FREE to the public. 

Mining at two different locations — the Bingham Canyon (copper) and in Park City (silver ore) — has resulted in vastly different post-mining land use.  This presentation, given by Donovan Symonds, Amy J. Richins and Michael G. Nelson, describes some of the activities in both areas.  Registration required. 

Put on your robes and grab your wand and come and ride the Wizard's Train.  The 90-minute round trip includes entertainment by a costumed staff of popular characters, trivia, fun, great photo opportunities, chocolate frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, and other surprises!

Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride under the stars at magical Sundance Resort.   

The annual Pumpkin Train is a festive family-friendly tradition.  Your ticket includes a short 40 minute train ride where you will be entertained on board. You'll also be served a delicious pumpkin cookie. And of course you also get to select a pumpkin from our Pumpkin Patch and take it home with you! Additional food and snacks will be available for purchase at the depot.

Peruse dozens of vendors selling a dazzling array of local goods; you’re bound to admire the character, flavor, and creativity of the area! The festival will feature local food and drink, activities for kids, live music, local crafts, and more. Free and open to the public!
