About Julie
Background: Julie grew up in Aspen, Colorado competing in junior ski racing programs and has been connected to Park City since she left. She spent 25 years of her career as the head of marketing for companies like Mrs. Fields Cookies, The Sharper Image and Park City Mountain, creating strategic initiatives to drive sales.
Invested in the Community: Julie is invested in the Park City community and currently serves on the boards of KPCW, the Swaner Nature Preserve and Ballet West Community Leadership Board. She also sits on the task force for Park City’s day of giving, Live PC Give PC. She has served on the boards for Park City Institute, Operation Smile, Park City Chamber of Commerce, Park City Public Art, Park City Historical Society & Museum and the Historic Main Street Business Alliance.
Marketing Expertise: She’s been an adjunct professor of marketing in the MBA program at the University of Utah and Westminster College for eight years teaching students the practical applications of marketing. She consulted for Walmart, Big O Tires, PetSmart’s vet services, Winder Farms, Toyota Dealers Association and more.
Knows the Mountain Lifestyle Having lived in resort markets her entire life, she knows the mountain lifestyle and looks forward to working with others who also enjoy it. Her dynamic, positive personality coupled with her marketing knowledge and love of the area will help you in your real estate transaction.
Julie's Real Estate Team
Sam Bargar is the Director of Operations, Backup Agent and an important team member in helping Julie’s clients from start to finish throughout the real estate transaction. Originally from the Boston area, Sam has been living in Park City since 2009, having moved to town with some high school friends to ski. He started working in real estate for Berkshire Hathaway as a transaction coordinator in 2015 — and as Julie likes to say — chased her down Main street at the Savor the Summit event to ask for a job. But the truth is he was referred to her as an excellent partner in real estate and has been a great asset to the team.
Sam has a degree in Journalism from the University of Maine and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, golfing, and all the fun that Park City has to offer.
