Tricks aside, Halloween on Historic Park City’s Main Street was named one of the top Halloween celebrations in the country by Travel and Leisure magazine and for good reason! When you combine two and four-legged costumed creatures with gourmet treats and maybe a few tricks you have a one-of-a-kind celebration.

Escape to another world by exploring six different art installations each enclosed within a retired Red Pine Gondola cabin. These cabins are placed around Canyons. As an added bonus, within each gondola cabin, there are hidden items for you to find.

Shrink down into the undergrowth to become one of the most extraordinary creatures on earth in this interactive maze. Become a caterpillar and find your way through a secret wild world as grass and leaves tower above your head. With challenges at every twist and turn — take on puzzles, games and exciting activities to help you discover a fascinating life cycle. Choose the right route to emerge as a beautiful butterfly!

“Traces” brings together groundbreaking artists who push the boundaries of ceramics as a medium for social, cultural and material exploration. Clay, with its elemental connection to the earth, is a material that inherently holds traces — of touch, of time, of memory. In this exhibition, Traces, ten visionary artists explore the profound ways in which clay can bear witness to personal and collective histories, bridging the tangible and the intangible.

The 2025 Wasatch Back Student Art Show is open to all students in Summit and Wasatch County Schools grades K-12. This year’s exhibition focuses on artwork that incorporates the theme of Earthen Forms. Students are invited to think about creative journeys in clay, reflecting on material exploration as a vessel for storytelling.

With such a deep history, many pieces of Fort Douglas’ 162-year history stay hidden under the ground, waiting for an archaeologist (or a backhoe!) to expose it to sunlight again. Over the past thirty years, archaeologists have explored many areas of the post’s history, whether for the 2002 Olympics or as part of research endeavors. With each new discovery we learn more about this unique piece of Utah history. Lecture by Christopher Merritt.
