The 2025 Wasatch Back Student Art Show is open to all students in Summit and Wasatch County Schools grades K-12. This year’s exhibition focuses on artwork that incorporates the theme of Earthen Forms. Students are invited to think about creative journeys in clay, reflecting on material exploration as a vessel for storytelling.

With such a deep history, many pieces of Fort Douglas’ 162-year history stay hidden under the ground, waiting for an archaeologist (or a backhoe!) to expose it to sunlight again. Over the past thirty years, archaeologists have explored many areas of the post’s history, whether for the 2002 Olympics or as part of research endeavors.
