Summit County Residents can drop off: paints, varnishes, solvents, motor oil, antifreeze, batteriesm gasoline, household cleaners, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, pool and spa chemicals, acids, propane and white gas fuel cylinders, compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), computers, monitors, TVs, cell phones, laptops, cables, mercury-containing items, pharmaceuticals, mattresses (for $20/item fee), bikes, etc.

Marcus Daly’s road to becoming Montana’s copper king went through the silver mining camps of Utah. There, as a manager for Utah’s banking millionaires, the Walker Brothers, he developed the skills and “nose for ore” that ultimately made Butte, Montana into the richest hill on earth.
