Starting with a traditional wake-up canon blast at 6 am. 7 am Sunrise Service featuring a flag raising ceremony, Speaker Bill Nixon, an Honorary Citizen presentation, the Swiss Bells and the Swiss Miss Chorus. Pancake breakfast at 8 am. 10 am Kid’s Bike Parade. 10 pm Fireworks over Memorial Hill.

This 21-mile loop features roughly 1,700 feet of climbing per lap and tackles almost the entirety of the Coyote Loop Trail starting and finishing at the UVU-Wasatch Campus.

Find out more »On Wednesday morning August 28, 1883, Matt Brennan was shot and killed in Thaynes Canyon. On Sunday morning September 2, John Murphy was found hanging from a telegraph pole in Parley’s Park City with a cryptic note stuffed into his boot bearing the number “77,” written apparently 77 times by 77 different hands. Between these dates, the Salt Lake City Marshal was shot by a black man and the shooter was hung within two hours. New research will be presented about John Murphy and the events of these days.
