STEP is an enthralling, timely and uplifting documentary about the senior year of a girls’ high-school step dance team unfolding against the background of inner-city Baltimore. As each one tries to become the first in their families to attend college, the girls strive to make their dancing a success while dealing with the social and political unrest in their troubled city.
STEP premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
