Kimball Art Center – Between Life and Land: Crisis
August 1 - October 25

In the face of our global climate crisis and tensions around the exploitation or pollution of our planet’s precious resources, the artists in the third chapter of Between Life and Land are compelled to respond to pressing environmental issues. Thirteen artists and artist collectives reflect on our rapidly shifting relationships to bodies of land and water, creating work that often sits at the intersection of art, activism, biology, ecology and history. Advocating for climate justice and environmental protection or restoration, their work reminds us of our enduring relationships with the natural world and collective responsibility for change.
