      Hike Through History to the Historic Thaynes Converyor

      August 23, 2018

      Hike from Guardsman Pass to the Jupiter ore bin, Shadow Lake, the California Comstock Mill and down to the Thaynes Conveyor to meet Clark Martinez to learn about the work needed to stabilize the long conveyor between the Thaynes shaft and the huge waste rock pile. Enjoy a gourmet lunch prepared by Pat Pond and Robin Filon.
