Park City Museum: Shiny Rocks to Silver Bars: Milling and Refining in Park City Lecture

Hear how the ores mined in Park City were turned into silver, lead and gold bars. Early prospectors used simple sorting methods and these will be compared against the more complex processes used in the Silver King and California Comstock mills. Lecturer Donovan has lived in Park City since 1977 and is a retired mining engineer specializing in mineral processing.
