Natural Dye Workshop with Bridgette Meinhold

Dyer’s woad is an invasive weed in Utah, but it has been used for centuries around the world to create a beautiful light blue fabric dye. In this workshop, participants will learn about how dyer’s woad impacts the Preserve and how we can take advantage of it while also helping our local ecosystem.  Join local artist Bridgette Meinhold to harvest dyer’s woad and use it to create a sustainable dye.
